Sassy’s Gifts was born in 2010 during a time when our family needed a little extra support. After the birth of our youngest son, my husband and I needed additional income for childcare, and since I couldn’t work evenings, we did what we’ve always done—we prayed. Through prayer, God gave us the vision for what became Sassy’s Inspirational Gifts, a Christian retail business we could operate online and at weekend events.
We started by selling Christian T-shirts and accessories (and we still do!), but over the years the business has grown and evolved. We expanded to include items for Greek sororities and fraternities, as well as Black organizations and communities, and along the way the name became Sassy’s Gifts.
Although my name is on the business, Sassy’s Gifts has truly been a family effort from day one. If you have shopped with us over the past 15+ years, there’s a good chance you’ve met one or two of my family members along the way.
I truly love what I do, and I am incredibly grateful to God for the vision, the creativity, and the “eye” He has given me for this business, as well as the opportunity to serve others through it. My prayer is that every person who shops with us feels blessed and delighted by their purchase.
